1. Open FaceTime app on your Mac.
2. You will see a Apple ID box, just enter your Apple ID email address and password and click on Sing In.
3. If you have two-step or two-factor authentication turned on for your Apple ID, enter your verification code.
4. If you don’t want to receive a call from specific person, Uncheck the boxes next to the email address.

Trick to make a call in FaceTime

Put your phone in your pocket or on your desk, and make your next call with FaceTime instead.

1. Open FaceTime app on your Mac.
2. Select Video or Audio based on the type of call you want to make.
3. Enter or Choose a name, number, or email into the search bar.
4. Click on the Phone icon to to make audio call or Camera icon to make video call.

Trick to add an email address in FaceTime

If you have a number of email addresses or aliases, you can set FaceTime up to allow people to contact you using any of them.

1. Open FaceTime on your Mac.
2. Click on FaceTime in the Menu bar and select Preferences.
3. Click Add Email.
