Britain’s company Bullitt Group launched its new smartphone, Cat S60, in India. Its price is Rs 64,999. The company has claimed that it is the world’s first smartphone, in which the thermal camera has been installed.
CAT S60 will be available from March 17, 2017 on offline and online channels including Amazon India. The distribution is being done by Brandeyes. Linda Summers, Chief Marketing Officer of Bullitt Group said, “In India, we are seeing huge opportunities for our smartphone business. Annual demand in India is expected to be 10 lakh units “.
Feature of CAT S60:
The most important feature of CAT S60 is its FLIR Lepton thermal microcamera module on rear panel, and the company claims the CAT S60 is the world’s first smartphone with an integrated thermal camera. According to the company, offers numerous use cases.
With the thermal camera, they can detect heat loss around windows and doors; spot moisture and missing insulation; identify over-heating electrical appliances and circuitry, and see in complete darkness.

Specifiaction of CAT S60
It has a 4.7” HD capacitive multi touch screen with auto wet finger & glove support. This phone is equipped with Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor. It has a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can be extended up to 128 GB via microSD card.
This phone works on Android Marshmallow. For photography, it has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. CAT S60 is dust-proof and drop-proof and Its rear camera has underwater capability and dual-LED flash.
In terms of connectivity, features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, Micro-USB (with OTG) and 3.5mm audio jacks have been provided. It has a non-removable battery of 3800 mAh, which claims to have talk time of up to 30 hours and standby time of 43 days.
