Many times this type of situation arises like someone is annoying you by constantly making calls on your iPhone or telemarketers always try to convince you to buy their products and so on.

These types of harassing calls, you may want to block these unknown callers on your iPhone. But, most of the people don’t know that they can block unknown callers and No Caller ID calls on their iPhone as quickly as possible.

In this tutorial, I am showing you a working method that will definitely prevent all “Unknown” calls and all “No Caller ID” calls from calling on your iPhone, this method block all unrecognized and new numbers as well.

Don’t use this method to block unknown callers if you are getting some important calls from unknown or unrecognized number regularly otherwise you may miss some calls that are really very important for you.

This method allows the contacts to call you that are already saved in your iPhone using Do Not Disturb mode. So let’s get started.

Trick to Block Unknown Callers & “No Caller ID” on iPhone

This method is not a traditional method to block unknown callers. As I motioned above you can do it by using Do Not Disturb and your contact list to prevent any random unknown callers from reaching the iPhone.

Follow the given steps to block unknown callers on your iPhone:

Step 1: Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone and select “Do Not Disturb“.

Step 2: Toggle the “Manual” option to the ON position – this turns on Do Not Disturb mode and You will see the half moon icon in the status bar.

Step3: Now Tap on Allow Calls From. Here are two options two options one is Favorites.

If you only want to allow calls from your ‘Favorite’ contacts then choose Favorites. This is an acceptable solution for people who have their family, friends, relatives and other important people on their iPhone Favorites list, but never get calls from anyone else not in Favorites.

And the second option is All Contacts, which will only allow phone calls that are already in your Contact list (not just Favorites) but not anyone who isn’t already added to your contact list, this is the better solution for many people, since obviously an Unknown caller, solicitor, or “No Caller ID” call won’t be in the address book of your iPhone.

Step 4: Close the settings and enjoy.

Note:

Choosing All Contact options will block all unknown callers that are not in your Contacts list from reaching the iPhone. Don’t enable it if you are not aware about this option. Otherwise, you may miss some important calls you actually want to get.

Always keep in mind that Do Not Disturb mode prevents your iPhone from ringing or making any sound alert and block any contact attempt if someone is not on your Favorites list or in the Contacts list.
