Batteries have always remained a greatest fear for all of the technology users especially now-a-days the problem must have been too much for android users.
Sometimes you have to bash your head with the wall, when your girlfriend argues with you that why were you not picking the call?
But she don’t know the reason, because she doesn’t have an android or iPhone (Or any other smartphone). I hope you will gift her soon. As a tech geek, battery has always been biggest fear for me too, I prayed all day for my mobile to not Rip off till the end of the day.

Recently I have been doing research on lithium-ion batteries which most of the smartphones in today’s world have that type of battery. While I was researching, I came across some of the battery myths which most of the users are victim of.
So today I would like to share those myths with all of you to make you people aware of those myths.
Top 3 Battery Myths :
Myth Number 1: Overnight Initial Charge
Let me start with the “Overnight Initial Charge” type of thing. It means that lithium-ion batteries need an initial overnight charge before you can actually use them. This is false.
Lithium Ion Batteries do not need any kind of first recharge or priming the call. So if your iPod comes out with 40 percent battery out of the box, you can start using it immediately. It doesn’t need of any kind of full night recharge.
Myth Number 2: Unplug the Device as soon as it is Charged
Myth number 2 is unplugging the device as soon as the device is fully charged. If you overcharge, it may diminish the battery life.
Well this may be right in case of old mobile phones. But latest smartphones and technology devices have built-in circuits that cut power just when the device is fully charged. You will have noticed that most of the times, you see quick charge up to 80%. Then it gradually starts slowing down. Sometimes when it comes to 100%, it may again come to 99% or 97%. So that’s the battery rejecting charge.

So you don’t need to be worried about it because the scientist or engineers who make these things better known than you. They have done everything with full testing. So after reading this, you don’t need to be worried about overcharging or anything. Just when you get near to your phone and see it’s fully charged then unplug it. You don’t need to set the alarm for this.
So the only thing you need to care about is overheating. That doesn’t usually happen, but care is important.
Myth Number 3: Calibrating the Battery
Myth number 3 is calibrating the battery. It means charging the battery up to 100% and then discharging it again to 0%. Well it is sometimes true but in most of the cases it not.
It usually must be done with the older technology. The older batteries were nickel batteries. So they needed to be fully charged and discharged again. But now as there are lithium-ion batteries, you don’t need to worry about fully charging and discharging. You know when the latest technology comes; it brings some sort of comfort for you.
And that is the same thing done with lithium-ion batteries. They give you the comfort of not fully charging and discharging again.
Conclusion:
So I hope you all have got some knowledge. Now your phone battery doesn’t need to be working on the myth principles. In the end, I would love to ask you to give feedback below and share my post.
